Crown Moran Hotel, Cricklewood

Segual Trading Limited

A 4 star hotel development of 121 bedrooms, restaurant, bar and public spaces complete with a double basement housing leisure facilities and car parking. The new hotel is built alongside the existing historic listed Crown public house, which was refurbished and incorporated into the overall scheme whilst continuing trading throughout construction.

The basement construction was some 10m deep, involving excavation and heavy shoring alongside the busy Cricklewood Broadway. A spectacular new glazed atrium and entrance lobby have been created joining the new hotel reception to the existing public house bars. Four floors of bedrooms included the use of bathroom pods manufactured by Ardmore in its Enfield factory. Purpose made joinery was manufactured in-house and used throughout the hotel bedrooms and public spaces.

Following on from this major project Ardmore returned some 18 months later to create a new function room, bar and toilets in the second basement level, utilising in-house joinery throughout.
