Centre piece of this project is the Rendezvous Casino for Heron International, located on the banks of the Clyde in the shadow of Kingston Bridge. Together with the casino are 2 restaurants, a multi storey car park on top of which is a five storey, 165 bed hotel for the Accor Group.

The leisure facilities include some 80,000 square feet of space for tenant fit out, with the principle structure being a piled steel frame with composite cladding and curtain walling.

The external finishes are a mixture of natural granite, block paving and modular slabs to provide an appealing entrance to the facility.

The works also included the reconfiguration of external car parking within the existing leisure centre, and public access routes together with external feature signage and lighting. During the construction period the existing leisure centre kept trading including a near by multiplex cinema and restaurants. Works were managed in a way that maintained the safety of the public at all times.

The whole of this design and build project took just 52 weeks to the tenant fit out stage. Our photographs show the completed casino.
