The Azure is a sparkling residential scheme on the historic Plymouth Hoe vantage point.

The 109 apartment scheme for Devington Homes enjoys magnificent views to the Scilly Isles and beyond. The RC frame is enveloped in a myriad of cladding finishes including natural stone, polished architectural block work, render, cedar cladding and aluminium.

The fully glazed walkway elevation provides for imaginative space planning and creates a superlative access solution to the individual apartments. In conjunction with the residential apartments there are mixed use car parking facilities for 160 cars.

The location of this project with its logistical constraints of adjoining owners and sea frontage have been demanding but with developed access arrangements together with assistance from Plymouth City Council we have been able to deliver the first phase occupation in just 73 weeks, a period which included extensive structural stabilisation to the façade to the listed Grand Hotel.
