This fascinating project involved constructing four blocks of apartments in the four corners of the Leyton Orient football club that were not occupied by stands. The blocks are of four/five storeys in height and provide a total of 134 apartments. The buildings are of reinforced concrete frame on CFA piles.
The blocks were progressed sequentially, with the overriding consideration that match days could not be disturbed by construction activities. The project was awarded an NHBC 'Pride in the Job' award for the outstanding quality of its finishing.
