Residential

Ardmore is a leading builder of high rise residential developments, often on tight city centre and waterfront sites, and can count most national house builders and many developers as clients.

These projects combine various individual components of the company’s activities including substructure, RC frame, external envelope, fit out and external works. This amalgam of specialists provides the ideal solution to any developer's requirements allowing the clients concept's to be transformed into a living project within the tightest of timescales, to strict budgetary control with due regard to the client's cost plan.

Leisure and Hotels

As an extension of our core residential design and build works we have been involved in the construction and refurbishment of major hotel projects as is clearly demonstrated here at the Crown Moran Hotel, Cricklewood.

Hotel projects allow Ardmore to display its craft skills to the greatest extent, particularly high quality joinery and other finishing trades. Ardmore has to date completed seven hotel projects with more currently under construction for repeat clients

Leisure is another growth area, the Glasgow Quay project being a good example which includes a large casino and associated hotel, multi storey car park and restaurants

Retail

Ardmore have a long history of retail projects and is justifiably proud of its record in this sector, having worked in most large shopping centres in the UK for some of the leading stores.

The company can resource from its own staff all of the trade disciplines to single source the construction, conversion or structural alteration of any retail premises nationwide with particular expertise in executing within live trading floor environments. From our extensive array of resources we are readily able to work on a 7 day round the clock basis should clients programme so dictate.

Industrial

The Company is well positioned for this type of development with its in-house facilities for substructure, foundations, steel fabrication and external works. Industrial projects range in scope from the utilitarian to the hi-tech executed either as design and build or as traditional contracts with project values ranging from £500,000 to £20 million. Demonstrated here is our recently completed Beckton project

Transport

Ardmore have enjoyed a long association with the rail sector and has its own specialist plant company which supplies road-rail excavators and operators to Network Rail and leading infrastructure contractors. Ardmore have worked extensively with both Network Rail and London Underground on station regeneration projects including most of the London termini.

Works in these sectors have encompassed small works of £100k to multi million pound station and platform refurbishment programmes as shown here at Paddington, Liverpool Street and Charing Cross. Our transportation experience is not limited to railways; other works include the provision of a new baggage handling facility at Heathrow Terminal 1.
